Young Leaders
Young Leaders
The Young Leaders Program, launched during the 7th Refugees Forum in 2023, aims to equip young people who are already involved or who wish to become involved in initiatives that welcome and support refugees and migrants.
With the mission of mobilizing Christian youth with leadership potential, the Program seeks to train leaders prepared to respond in a practical and committed way to the challenges of the global migration crisis. Through training opportunities, the Young Leaders Program fosters the development of skills, critical reflection, and engagement in transformative actions.
Since its creation, more than 60 young people, aged between 18 and 30, have participated in online training sessions led by professionals specialized in the fields of refuge and migration. Among them, 33 received participation scholarships to attend the Refugees Forum, where they received in-depth training, shared best practices, and strengthened relationships with organizations and churches engaged in this cause.
The Young Leaders Program aims to strengthen skills, encourage collaborative work, and build a network committed to supporting refugees and migrants. We believe in the potential of youth and continue to inspire the next generation of humanitarian leaders.
